To leverage on the momentum built as a result of the 2nd European Young Entrepreneurs Conference held in Rome in December 2014 as well as of the 1st one, held in Athens in June 2014, and to update the 2015-16 plan of action and continued revamping of Yes for Europe, making sure that Young Entrepreneurs in Europe are well connected for business and know-how transfer as well as they have a strong, collective voice.
To build on the results of the ScaleUpEurope conference in Rome and to prepare an action plan of engagement with the EU institutions, national governments, investors, corporates and other stakeholders in order to boost the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems across Europe that facilitate “Scale Ups”, as an effective response to Europe’s economic and societal challenges.
To reflect, at the end of the term, on the outcomes of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the perspectives of the new EU Commission and its Startup Europe initiative, to prepare the EU delegation to the G20 YEA Summit in Istanbul as well as to provide for better engagement between the European Young Entrepreneurs and the G20 stakeholders.
To review the progress made in Europe from the “YES Agenda 2010-2015” perspective and to launch the discussion for the “YES Agenda 2016-2021” outlining the European Young Entrepreneurs’ vision on Europe’s economy.
To conclude to an updated structure, membership and governance for YES for Europe, implementing the tighter bilateral and multilateral cooperation across Associations representing Young Entrepreneurs across Europe defined by the “European Commitment” declaration signed in Rome.
